Privacy Policy

This policy covers information submitted through this website to the Democratic Party of Uvalde County.

What we collect and why

When you submit the form, we collect your name, email, optional phone number, SMS consent choice, submission time, page URL, and the consent wording and policy version you saw. We use these records to respond to you, maintain our contact list, and document permission for text messages. Providing a phone number without checking the SMS box does not authorize texting.

Sharing and protection

We do not sell or share mobile numbers with third parties or affiliates for their own advertising, marketing, or promotional use. SMS opt-in records and consent are not shared for those purposes. Limited access may be provided to service providers that operate our website or deliver messages on our behalf, including our texting provider, Scale to Win, solely to perform those services. Information may also be disclosed if legally required.

Signup records are stored on the server, separate from public website files. Access is limited to people administering the party’s contact and messaging program. No advertising trackers or third-party analytics are included in this site. Technical connection information may be processed by the hosting provider for operation and security; the signup database does not record your IP address.

Retention and your choices

We keep contact details while needed for the relationship or messaging program. You may ask us to delete them or stop contacting you by emailing guybot0351@gmail.com. Minimal consent and opt-out records may be retained as needed to honor your preferences, resolve disputes, or meet legal obligations; records are reviewed at least annually.

Reply STOP to any program text to unsubscribe, or HELP for assistance. You may also request removal by email. Links to Facebook open a separate service governed by its own privacy policy. Material changes to this policy will be posted here with an updated effective date.
